King Ovinga I of Gabon is no more. Following his passing, Guide Bamba, King of Mali and a great friend of the illustrious deceased, released the statement below.


OFFICIAL STATEMENT OF CONDOLENCES


From the Cabinet of His Majesty King Guide BAMBA

To the People of the Kingdom of Olamba and the Royal Family of Gabon

It is with profound sadness and a heavy heart that. His Majesty King Guide BAMBA has received the news of the passing to God of:

His Illustrious Majesty KING OVINGA I Monarch of the Kingdom of Olamba Gabonese Republic.


His Majesty King Guide BAMBA bows before the memory of a Wise King, a Custodian of Ancestral Traditions, a Builder of Peace, and a Father to his People.

A Wise King whose counsel was a light for his community and for Central Africa.  

A Guardian King whose life was devoted to the preservation of the culture, customs and heritage of the Olamba people.  

A Peaceful and Unifying King, a pillar of cohesion who worked tirelessly for the harmony of his Kingdom.  

A Dignified King whose presence honored the Thrones of Africa and strengthened the bonds of royal brotherhood.  

A Respected Brother of the Crown, whose wisdom and benevolence will forever remain in our memory.

On this day of mourning, His Majesty King Guide BAMBA extends his deepest and most sincere condolences to the Royal Family, to the Council of Notables, to all the people of Olamba, and to the entire Nation of Gabon.

The passing of His Majesty King Ovinga I leaves a great void in the concert of African Kingdoms. But his legacy endures: a legacy of dignity, tradition, service, and love for his people.

May the Ancestors welcome him in glory.  

May the soil of Gabon rest lightly upon him.  

May the Kingdom of Olamba find strength and unity to carry forward his noble work.

In this moment of grief, His Majesty King Guide BAMBA and his entire Royal Court stand in full solidarity with the Kingdom of Olamba.
