His Majesty King Guide Bamba El Hadj Mahamed Npahi Sâanwi,
King and forerunner of the African Renaissance and the Malian Monarchy,
Supreme Leader of the United Kingdoms of Africa (UKAF), founder of the Bamba Empire, initiator and moral authority of Massakunda,
issued the following declaration at the close of the National Day of Authorities and Legitimate Leaders, which marked its 4th edition on November 11.

ROYAL STATEMENT OF APPRECIATION
At the conclusion of the 4th Edition of the National Day of Traditional and Religious Authorities and Legitimacies
Bamako, November 11, 2025
On behalf of the Royal Institution of Mali and all the United Kingdoms of Africa,
I wish to express my deepest appreciation to all those who contributed to the remarkable success of the 4th Edition of the National Day of Traditional and Religious Authorities and Legitimacies.
I extend my special acknowledgments to:
His Excellency General Abdoulaye Maïga, Prime Minister of Mali, for presiding over this ceremony on behalf of the President of the Transition, His Excellency General of the Army Assimi GOÏTA, thereby reaffirming the coherence and the significance of this event in the noble construction of Maliden Kura.
The Minister of Culture, Tourism and Arts, for his commitment and for the outstanding organization of this national celebration.
The President of the National Transitional Council (CNT) and all members of the Government, for their active support and remarkable presence.
My heartfelt gratitude also goes to the invited countries and their distinguished representatives:
His Majesty the Mogho Naaba Baongo of Burkina Faso, represented by his envoy, and The Association of Traditional Chiefs of the Republic of Niger, for their active participation and their contribution to the dialogue on ancestral values and the education of new Malian generations.
I warmly salute:
The founding families and patriarchs of Mali, particularly Mamoutou Niaré, for their historical role and tireless commitment to transmitting ancestral values; All the Traditional and Legitimate Authorities of Mali for their presence and exemplary mobilization;
The Malian youth and members of MASSAKUNDA, for their dynamic involvement in the preparation and animation of this memorable day.
The rich and constructive exchanges around the theme “The Role and Responsibility of Traditional and Legitimate Authorities in the Education and Building of Maliden Kura” reflect the vital importance of preserving and promoting our traditions and cultural values to shape a new Mali, strong, united, and deeply rooted in its identity.
In this Year of Culture, may this event remind everyone of the urgent need to combine heritage, education, and modernity to ensure peace, social cohesion, and the harmonious development of our nation.
To all, I renew my sincere appreciation and encourage the continuation of this noble momentum, so that Mali, faithful to its traditions and its legitimate authorities, may always remain a shining example of culture, peace, and solidarity on the African continent.
