May the Peace and Mercy of God be upon us and upon all humanity.
On the occasion of the celebration of Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of the blessed month of Ramadan, I extend my most sincere and fraternal wishes to all Muslim communities across Africa and around the world.
Due to legitimate differences in the observation of the lunar crescent, this celebration is observed today by some and tomorrow by others. Whatever the date, what matters most remains the unity of hearts, the sincerity of faith, and the sharing in peace.
I commend the discipline, patience, and devotion demonstrated by the faithful throughout this sacred month, dedicated to prayer, fasting, forgiveness, and solidarity with the most vulnerable.
May this celebration be a time of joy, mutual forgiveness, strengthened family and community ties, and an opportunity to renew our commitment to peace, justice, and fraternity among peoples.
In the spirit of Massakunda and in the vision of a strong and united Africa, I call upon everyone to make these spiritual values the foundation for building harmonious societies based on respect, dignity, and solidarity.
May Almighty God accept our prayers, bless our families, and grant Africa and the world peace, stability, and prosperity.
Eid Mubarak to all.
